Happen to be in Sado during early -mid April? Wondering where to go to see Sakura flowers? I’ve compiled a list of some of the places famous for Sakura in Sado (those easily accessible by local route bus). But of course you will be able to see the flowers almost everywhere during the month of April! Enjoy hanami (cherry blossoms viewing) under the lovely Sakura flowers or sakura illumination light up at night (Mano Park – dates to be confirm; Sado Kinzan). One thing good about hanami in Sado is that it’s not going to be as crowded compared to big cities like Tokyo!
Mano Park
With about 2000 Sakura trees, this park is no doubt the most popular Sakura spot in Sado. So when it a good time to come? Due to a warm winter this year, it is estimated that the flowers will bloom a little bit earlier as compared to previous year – around the second week of April. Do plan a trip down to Mano park if you happen to be in Sado during that period!
Estimated Blooming: mid-April
